We’re barely into 2026, but we have exciting news! Curo Skin’s Filtered Shower Head has been named the ‘Best Handheld Shower Filter’ by Good Housekeeping.

 

Our already award-winning shower filter made into the top four listed by the popular lifestyle magazine, in its recent roundup of best-in-class health and beauty products.

 

The whole team here at Curo are delighted at the news, which comes hot on the heels of a standout year in 2025 - where we were honoured with awards and recommendations from the likes of Marie Claire, Glamour, WIRED, Woman & Home and Get the Gloss. 

Good Housekeeping’s Verdict

So, what did Good Housekeeping say about the Curo Filtered Shower Head? Here’s a snippet from the review:

 

“This sleek-looking shower head was a hit with our panellists for both style and performance.

 

“Overall filtration was good too, with chlorine, iron, copper, lead and hardness levels dropping across the board.”

 

Awarded an impressive overall score of 82 out of 100, the magazine’s review praised the premium, good-quality build of the shower head as well as its clear, straightforward instructions.

 

In the interests of fairness, we should point out that some panellists found that their existing shower holder wasn’t able to properly support the weight of the shower head. Why Curo Skin Came Out on Top

As part of the extensive tests carried out by the Good Housekeeping team, multiple testers used the Curo Filtered Shower Head to shower at home. They also tested out certain aspects in the lab, looking at everything from ease of installation and use, through to flow rate and water pressure.

 

One of the main reasons the Curo Filtered Shower Head was named ‘Best Handheld Shower Filter’ was how quickly the magazine’s testers saw results.
